SENIOR INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL TECHNICIAN (SWAZILAND)

This Senior Instrumentation & Control Technician opportunity will provide service and maintenance, care and technical advice as well as standby duties on the design, engineering, troubleshooting, and modification of a wide range of field instrumentation and control including: sensors, transmitters, control valves, field analyzers and royalty/custody transfer meters, PLC machines and networks. You will provide engineering expertise and technical support to Operations, Maintenance, and Projects.

Willingly apply for this role if you currently are or previously have been an Instrumentation and Control Technician for a large heavy manufacturing or plant, FMCG, petrochemical, paper or mining (etc) organisation. Also necessary is your experience as an Instrument and Control Engineer, skills in using relevant engineering software as well as strong knowledge of relevant Codes & Standards. A University degree is required.

• Proven track record in Instrumentation and Control
  
• Bachelors Degree  in Instrument and Control Engineering or equivalent
  
• 5 years post qualification experience in Instrumentation and Control with at least three years in a Senior position
  
• Comprehensive knowledge of modern process control systems as well as sound knowledge of engineering software
